What is WellComm?

WellComm is a comprehensive Speech and Language Toolkit designed for screening and intervention in the early years. Its primary purpose is to identify children who may have potential language difficulties and provide tailored activities to support their language development.

This toolkit is easy to use and features a straightforward scoring system. It employs a traffic light system to assess a child’s current speech and language abilities and outline the next steps for support. This ensures that every child receives the appropriate level of care and assistance.

• ⬤ Red: Consider referral to a specialist service for further assessment or advice.
• ⬤ Amber: Extra support and intervention are required.
• ⬤ Green: No intervention is currently needed.
